This year Skate San Francisco has the great honor of hosting U.S. Figure Skating’s Developmental International Program. The purpose of this program is to provide ice skaters who competed successfully at the 2010 Junior U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Intermediate level, or at the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Novice level an opportunity to compete in a simulated international style competition. This program will better prepare these ice skaters for their upcoming season as Novice and Junior level competitors that will be required to compete internationally. All the top Intermediate and Novice level ice skaters from the 2009-2010 season have been invited from across the nation to compete at this event by U.S. Figure Skating (USFS).
